Our Projects
Most of my work focuses on small-scale spaces. What began as a response to the limited outdoor areas so common in London has become a passion—I love the creativity that comes from working within these constraints. Each site has its own personality, and the challenge, for me, is always to unlock that individuality and turn it into something memorable.
The Garden Enclosure
The concept for this garden was inspired by its unique setting—enclosed on all sides by large glass windows. Although much of the space lies in shade, the intention was to create a garden that could be appreciated equally from every angle, acting as a natural connector between the surrounding rooms. A small bridge overhead links two of the buildings, offering an elevated perspective of the garden below. From this vantage point, the sculptural forms of Dicksonia antarctica, one of my favourite plants, are particularly striking, evoking the immersive feeling of being deep in nature.
The Shady London Courtyard
A secluded green oasis in the heart of Paddington, this garden presented the unique challenge of almost constant deep shade. To transform the space, we introduced subtly reflective galvanised steel containers, which bounce light around and lift the atmosphere. The play of reflected light works beautifully with the layered shades of green, creating a lively, uplifting environment—a daily moment of surprise and delight for our clients.
The West London Garden
This garden was designed as a space for cooking and entertaining, slightly removed from the main house. The raised terrace, shaded by existing apple trees, was a natural starting point, but much of the remaining area was little more than a compost heap. To transform it, we introduced a broken-brick path, its irregular pattern encouraging the planting to spill naturally into the walkways. The result is a space that feels lived in, subtly connected, and full of character—an inviting setting for gathering and sharing
